Hours: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
Pay: $33$38 per hour, based on experience
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Start Date: 1st week of September

Superior Skilled Trades has an opening with a well-established commercial developer based in Kirkland, WA who is seeking a qualified and motivated Carpentry Foreman to join their growing construction team. This role is ideal for a seasoned carpenter ready to lead, or an experienced foreman who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented commercial construction environment.

The Carpentry Foreman will oversee a wide range of carpentry activitiesfrom rough framing to finish workon commercial projects. This role blends strong carpentry knowledge, crew leadership, and working knowledge of project coordination. Safety, quality, and efficiency are top priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise all phases of commercial carpentry: framing, blocking, sheathing, backing, doors, frames, hardware, casework, trim, and accessories
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications to plan daily field operations
Manage a team of carpenters and laborers, assigning tasks and ensuring high-quality workmanship and efficiency
Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to maintain schedules and workflow
Monitor and enforce OSHA and company safety standards at all times
Conduct quality control checks and ensure compliance with construction documents and building codes
Track labor, material use, and daily progress; assist with jobsite documentation
Perform hands-on carpentry work and problem-solving as needed to keep the project on track

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial carpentry, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role
Strong understanding of both rough and finish carpentry techniques
Able to read and work from architectural drawings and specifications
Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills
Solid knowledge of OSHA standards and jobsite safety protocols
Physically capable of performing fieldwork (lifting, bending, climbing, kneeling, etc.)
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
Must have own tools
Job Requires proper use of PPE: Hard Hat, Vest, Safety Glasses, Gloves, etc.
