Solar Panel Installer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation of solar energy systems, demonstrating proficiency in both high and low voltage work. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for ensuring that solar panels are installed safely and efficiently on various types of roofs and structures.

Responsibilities

Install solar panel systems on residential and commercial rooftops according to design specifications.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for fixture installation and system setup.
Work collaboratively with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
Follow all safety protocols while working at heights and around electrical systems.
Interpret schematics and blueprints to accurately build solar energy systems.
Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) during installations.
Conduct quality checks on installations to ensure functionality and safety standards are met.
Assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise during or after installation.
Qualifications

Previous experience in solar installation or related construction work is preferred. (minimum 2 years)
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in fixture installation.
Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems is essential.
Familiarity with reading schematics and understanding building codes, particularly NEC standards.
Ability to work on rooftops and at heights safely.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
