At Pauley Construction, LLC, as a Foreman Wirelessyou'll provide a complete variety of construction and engineering services to the wireless and wireline industry. We are seeking Pole Truck Operators to work out of Houston, TX region. Duties will placing Utility Poles, installing/repairing cable, operation of heavy equipment (Backhoe, Trencher, Directional Bore, Bucket Truck, Pole Truck, Digger Derrick, etc.), grounds restoration, flagging, and general construction as directed by Foreman/Supervisor. Prior experience with installation/repair/maintenance associated with underground utilities with specific Pole Truck experience required. CDL required.

What you’ll do as a Wireless Foreman

  • Work with crew to ensure that all construction operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications
  • Ensure safety procedures and PPE is in place and followed at all times by you and your team
  • You and your team will be responsible for installing state of the art products to customers by exceeding the customer’s expectations.
  • Ensure highest level of safety and quality control requirements are upheld
  • Installing and upgrading antennas
  • Electronic testing of equipment to inspect the tower’s operation
  • Identifying problems and performing maintenance of network equipment
  • Installation and servicing of wireless equipment in the field
  • Instruct and follow of all OSHA and Company Fall Safety procedures
  • Safely working in ALL environments
  • Show up on time every day, ready to rock and roll
  • Basic use of hand tools and equipment
  • Able to identify hazards associated with the construction industry
  • Work closely with your team and ensure they understand and follow instructions

What you’ll need

  • To be 18 years of age or older
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
  • Minimum, 2 years of work-related experience pertaining to utility construction, telecommunications or laborer related work.
  • Computer skills preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience to direct workflow and produce high quality results.
  • Any combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates ability to perform the designated job duties and responsibilities of the position.

Additional qualifications (if applicable)

  • Must be at least 18 years of age to operate company equipment and drive company vehicles.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and company drug screening.
  • Must be able to attend and pass all company required training as needed.
  • May be required to work over-time; after hours; on weekends or be on-call as work is needed to ensure work is completed.
  • May include working nights and holidays as needed.
  • May be required to travel in state or overnight as necessary to meet business needs.
  • Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.

  • The noise level in the work environment for this position is moderate.

  • Employees performing these job functions are required to lift or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Employees in this job classification may be exposed to dust, fumes or other airborne pathogens.
  • Employees may be exposed to toxic or corrosive chemicals as well as moving machinery parts and pieces.

Pay Range : The Foreman Wireless hourly wage range is $25.00 - $37.00 depending on experience.
