Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities include:
- Fit, install, and secure material on frames, using hand tools, power tools, glue, cement, and/or staples.
- Build furniture up with loose fiber stuffing, cotton, felt, and/or foam padding to form smooth rounded surfaces.
- Examine furniture frames, upholstery, springs, and webbing to locate defects.
- Measure and cut new covering materials, using patterns, and measuring and cutting instruments, following sketches and design specifications.
- Maintain records of time required to perform each job.
- Repair furniture frames and refinish exposed wood.
- Pick up and deliver furniture as needed.
- Interweave and fasten strips of webbing to the backs and undersides of furniture, using small hand tools and fasteners.
- Attach bindings or apply solutions to edges of cut material to prevent raveling.
- Attach fasteners, grommets, buttons, buckles, ornamental trim, and other accessories to cover frames, using hand tools.
- Adjust or replace webbing, padding, and/or springs, and secure them in place.
- Remove covering, webbing, padding, and/or defective springs from work pieces, using hand tools such as hammers and tack pullers.
- Installation and repair of various flooring materials such as carpet, tile, wood, laminate & vinyl.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- This is a uniformed position, which requires that Team Members are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.

- High school diploma or GED
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Detail oriented with a strong degree of accuracy.
- Experience with computers and maintenance programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use measuring tools and perform basic math computations.
- Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
