Job Description

We are seeking machine operators for the 2nd and 3rd shifts . The role involves operating machinery, moving tubs, hand grinding, deburring parts, and working on a grinding and straightening line. Candidates will also be responsible for heat treating parts using specific procedures and equipment. You will be working either independently or with a small team to complete tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery efficiently during the 2nd and 3rd shifts.

• Move tubs and perform hand grinding and deburring of parts.

• Conduct heat treating of parts by heating them and dipping them into a solution.

• Operate a grinding and straightening machine to straighten out shafts.

• Utilize screw conveyor/auger type machinery.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of manufacturing or industrial work experience preferred.

• Experience with machine operation.

• Basic math skills including addition and subtraction.

• Ability to be on your feet for 10-hour shifts.

• Stable work history.

• Mechanical inclination for potential growth in CNC learning.

• Preferred experience with steel and comfort in a dirty work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.44/hr.
