Job Description

As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for moving materials and assisting with the installation of metal frames to enhance safety procedures. You will mechanically install metal frames and fencing using hand and power tools. Candidates must be comfortable with heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds repetitively, in a loud and fast-paced environment. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment while ensuring compliance with the company's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and assist in the installation of metal frames to improve safety procedures.

• Mechanically install metal frames and fencing using hand and power tools.

• Lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Essential Skills

• Experience with hand and power tools.

• Mechanically inclined with carpentry, construction, or production experience.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.

• Punctuality, reliability, and a safety-conscious mindset.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure.

• Experience working on Amazon robotics floors is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled within a warehouse setting, which can be loud and chaotic at times. Shifts are available in the morning from 4:30 am to 2:30 pm and in the afternoon from 2:30 pm to 12:30 am. Candidates must be available Monday through Friday, with potential work on Saturdays. Flexibility to work extended hours before or after shifts is required. On the first day, the shift starts at 8 am.

This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
