Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of a bagger and sealer operator. The position involves operating machinery to ensure fertilizer bags are consistently stacked on the conveyor and sealed properly as they progress along the line. This role requires lifting 50-pound bags throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to ensure continuous stacking of fertilizer bags on the conveyor.

• Seal bags to remove air as they proceed down the conveyor.

• Consistently lift and handle 50-pound bags.

• Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the bagging and sealing process.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, general labor, and material handling.

• Dependability and reliability.

• Ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Entry-level experience is welcome.

• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.

• Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds.

• Must wear composite shoes.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Work Environment

This position is based in a non-climate-controlled environment. The work involves consistent lifting and requires the use of composite shoes. Normal work hours are from 8 am to 4:30 pm, with a first shift from 7 am to 5:30 pm, including two hours of mandatory overtime during busy periods.

This is a Contract position based out of Tennent, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
