Your impact
Our aviation team is experiencing exciting local growth within our established practice and we have a need for a Civil Aviation Engineering professional to support design projects locally that are airfield and landside. The primary responsibilities for this role will include:
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Performs civil design calculations computer modeling, calculations, detailing, and plan set production for runways, drainage, utilities as well as landside design
Coordinates project assignments with those of other engineers and technicians in his/her discipline group
Work under the supervision of senior staff to produce quality design and plans and interpret plans from other engineering related disciplines (survey, drainage, structural, etc.)
Review design drawings and make recommended changes
Researches design options and documents findings for Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.
Assists with other duties assigned by Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.
Attend and/or conduct client meetings, and interacts with clients.
Oversight of project activities and operations for airports
Here's what you'll need
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
Substantial post graduate/professional years experience
Experience developing project plans, coordinating tasks, task and delivery oversight.
Professional years experience on aviation projects
Experience managing multi-discipline technical project team engaged in engineering design and operations
Ability to efficiently utilize time in executing assigned tasks accurately and on time
Knowledge of clients and standards local to NY and NJ
Posted Salary Range: Minimum
115,000.00
Posted Salary Range: Upper
130,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $115,000.00 to $130,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
