Assembly Operator

Job Description

The Assembly Operator role is responsible for assembling and inspecting electrical components for Power Distribution Units.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble Power Distribution Units (PDU) and other electrical components according to specifications.

  • Assemble cables, harnesses, electronic and electro-mechanical test equipment to engineering specifications.

  • Replace and remove electrical components on PDU when needed or repair units.

Essential Skills

  • 1 year of experience in assembly with an emphasis on mechanical skills.

  • Proficiency in using basic hand tools.

  • Ability to stand for 8 hours.

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Capability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work safely.

  • Ability to read and write to comply with written instructions and complete departmental paperwork.

Work Environment

Work shifts from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday. The role requires standing for extended periods and involves using various tools in an assembly line setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
