Position Summary:
TTM is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I. Responsibilities include leads the research, analysis, design and development of mechanical hardware for electronic equipment. Incumbent will interact with different levels of management and others outside of the department to report test results of component performance and to resolve technical problems. Must have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret Clearance, which includes US Citizenship.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow current ME development processes.
- Expected to be a participant in Process Improvement activities including process generation, checklists and data analysis.
- Perform tasks according to budget and schedule.
- Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Prepares technical status reports, as required.
- Occasional travel requiring overnight stays may be required. Airline travel must be acceptable.
- Supports Senior Engineers with mechanical designs.
- Conducts basic Research in Mechanical Engineering
- Materials investigation

- Supports manufacturing
- Discrepant material investigations
- Supports environmental laboratory testing.
- Basic knowledge of 2 and 3D computer aided design, thermal and structural analysis.
- Uses MS Word, Excel and Power Point in support of analyses and presentations.
- Prepares Product Change Notices (PCNs).
- Conducts design modifications to existing products.
- Conducts basic thermal and structural analysis using FEA analysis tools.
- Able to navigate through DOORS (or equivalent) and perform requirements tractability analysis.
- Prepares technical reports.
- Interfaces with subcontractors.
Education and Experience:
- Experience: Minimum of 0-5 years of Mechanical Engineering and design experience
- Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Must be a U.S. citizen and have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance when necessary for work on a project that requires such a clearance.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:
$75,359 - $125,598Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
