*We are looking for a motivated Drafter to join our team!*

Pompanette, LLC is a leading manufacturer of equipment for pleasure boats, mega yachts, sport fishing boats, sail boats, and commercial vessels. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork within a fast-paced environment.

*Drafter*

The Drafter is responsible for working with our team of engineers to convert designs and customer requirements into technical plans; developing drawings/models, specifications, and material requirements of the production of current and future product lines.

*Key responsibilities include:*

* Coordinate with Engineers and Salespersons to gather product requirements and designs.

* Develop Bills of Material (BOM) calculating dimensions and requirements in materials.

* Create detailed designs with CAD (computer-aided design) software.

* Prepare and review rough sketches, present and review with the Engineering Team.

* Ensure final designs comply with the regulation and quality standards.

* Develop work instructions to document proper production procedures.

* Create manuals that describe existing products operations, features, and maintenance.

*Requirements & Experience:*

* Hands-on experience with 2D & 3D CAD software; Solidworks and AutoCAD/Draftsight.

* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all manufacturing activities.

* Excellent math skills.

* Experience as an Engineer, Estimator, Drafter or similar.

* Experience with CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools; Solidworks, Mastercam, and AutoCad/Draftsight.

* Detail oriented, work efficiently within deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
