This is a full-time field position with 5 days/week installing rooftop/ground mounted solar (PV) systems.

We are seeking a Solar Installer with a minimum of one year of solar experience to join our team. This position is responsible for the professional installation of solar energy systems for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical work, solar panel installation, and system maintenance, with an understanding of renewable energy technologies and safety standards.

Our technicians own the scope of work and make sure that all work meets the highest standards.You'll be working as a part of an experienced team to deliver sustainable, environmentally friendly solar energy solutions to homes and businesses throughout all of Maryland.Successful candidates will be trained on the latest solar (PV) technologies (we are willing to work with and train the right candidate).You'll need to be a detail-oriented person to handle the complexity of our solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.Pay for this position is hourly with the ability to earn overtime. The opportunity to increase your income will be based on how successful you are in the field. We are a growing business with new roles being carved out each year.

Typical Duties

As a Solar Installer, successful candidates will be responsible for:

Technical Work: Install racking system, solar panels, and inverters. Perform electrical connections and wiring, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment and ensure the safe installation of all solar equipment.Team Collaboration: Work closely with project manager, electricians, and other team members to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.

Non-Technical Skills/Traits Required
