Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Division 8 Detailer & Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting architectural and construction documents to prepare detailed take-offs and cost estimates for doors, frames, and hardware packages. Your attention to detail and knowledge of Division 8 products will play a key role in ensuring accurate and competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities:

Review & analyze architectural drawings, specifications, & addenda for Division 8 scopePerform accurate material take-offs for doors, frames, and hardwarePrepare detailed estimates and proposals for commercial construction projectsCoordinate with vendors and manufacturers to obtain pricing and lead timesCollaborate with project managers, general contractors, and internal team membersTrack and manage bid deadlines, RFIs, and project documentsAssist in value engineering and alternate product recommendations when necessaryPrepare Submittals for the GCs and the Architect

Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years of experience in Division 8 estimating and detailingStrong knowledge of doors, frames, and hardware specifications and applicationsProficient in reading architectural plans and specificationsExperience with Software for Hardware or similar estimating platforms requiredDetail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalExperience with Division 10 materials is a plus, but not required
