Location: Springfield, MA

Pay: $130,000 - $175,000+ depending on experience

Schedule: Full-time, on-site

We are working with a national general contractor with a growing portfolio of academic and institutional projects across New England. They are recognized for their expertise in building state-of-the-art higher education facilities that enhance learning environments for students and faculty. With a focus on quality, safety, and collaboration, they consistently deliver projects that meet the unique demands of their clients.

They are looking for an experienced Superintendent who is well versed within the Academic sector, or who has strong experience with large renovation projects. In this role, you'll oversee the successful delivery of a major higher education construction project, ensuring schedules are met, quality is maintained, and safety is always a top priority.

What you get to do:

Lead daily on-site operations for a large-scale academic facility project

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and school representatives to meet project goals

Schedule and manage trade partners to keep work on track and within budget

Monitor quality and compliance with design specifications and safety regulations

Mentor field staff and foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environment

What you need to succeed:

7+ years of superintendent experience in commercial construction (academic or institutional projects preferred)

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience delivering complex projects in occupied or active campus environments

Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders

Strong organizational skills and proficiency in managing schedules, logistics, and site safety
