Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Estimator - Heavy Civil position include: 5-7+ years of estimating experience in earthwork, excavation, and heavy civil projects Ability to evaluate bid specifications and drawings to successfully prepare accurate cost estimates Experience working on mid-to-large scale excavation and site development projects Strong knowledge of excavation methods, materials, and local market pricing Familiarity with estimating software (no specific program required), and proficient in Excel Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure alignment on project scopes Prepare detailed takeoffs and quantity surveys for all civil scopes Must be organized, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple bids simultaneously Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
