We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee capital projects within refinery environments. The ideal candidate will bring more than 10 years of hands-on experience in managing complex construction operations in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry. This role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage construction activities for large-scale capital projects in refinery settings. Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of all construction phases, ensuring alignment with project goals. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project control teams to ensure seamless project execution. Ensure all construction work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and company policies. Manage contractor performance, including oversight of subcontractors and third-party vendors. Drive progress tracking, productivity assessments, and reporting using industry-standard project management tools. Implement and enforce site safety programs and quality assurance protocols. Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders. Monitor budgets, forecast costs, and manage change orders and claims. Facilitate site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure ongoing compliance. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 10+ years of progressive construction management experience, specifically in refinery, petrochemical, or oil & gas capital projects. Proven track record managing projects with budgets exceeding $50 million. Deep understanding of refinery operations, construction safety, and environmental regulations (OSHA, API, NFPA, etc.). Experience with EPC/EPCM projects and contract management. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in construction management software (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.). PMP, CCM, or similar certification is a plus. Ability to travel or relocate depending on project site requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in Engineering or Project Management. Experience working in unionized environments. Familiarity with international construction codes and standards. Strong stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills. The pay range for this role is $[60-75/hr].
