General Production Associate - equipment operator

Our client, a leader in the recycling industry, is seeking a General Production Associate - equipment operator to join their team. As a General Production Associate, you will be part of the operations team supporting the recycling process. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Production Associate - equipment operator

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Pay Range: $15.00 per hour

Shift: First (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday)

What's the Job?

• Operate Caterpillar Front Loader and Forklift to manage recyclable materials.
• Sort and separate recyclable materials, primarily cardboard and plastics, according to type and quality.
• Prepare materials for baling, ensuring proper handling and organization.
• Safely load and secure baled materials onto pallets for transport.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols.

What's Needed?

• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Previous experience in recycling, warehouse, or manual labor preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
