Journeyman Painter

Physical Requirements:
Physical stamina (ability to lift heavy objects as needed, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, etc.)
Perform various construction tasks such as airless paint spraying, rolling, brushing, restoring and caulking
Use power tools and other equipment to complete assigned tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Additional Requirements:
Must have valid driver's license & insurance and reliable transportation.
Must have basic hand tools.
Must have logical decision-making skills.
Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Must be willing and able to follow directions, processes, and instructions as provided.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting such as scraping, sanding, and filling holes
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Mix and match colors for touch-ups and complete projects
- Perform minor carpentry work related to painting projects
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and deadlines
Skills
- Proficiency in drywall repair and installation
- Ability to maintain and repair painting equipment
- Experience in fixture installation for accurate painting around objects
- Familiarity with airless paint spraying techniques
- Proficient in trim carpentry for precise finishing touches
- Carpentry skills to assist with various tasks related to painting
