Facilities Electrical Technician II - Austin

The Facilities Electrical Technician II performs general, advanced and professional grade high-and low-voltage electrical maintenance in company-owned commercial, industrial, and residential facilities. This position will install and repair various electrical systems and components, coordinate repairs with supervisors, other Facilities Electrical Technicians, or vendors.

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Electrical Journeyman License or one of the following:At least three years of commercial/industrial electrical field experienceAt least four years of residential electrical field experience
• Ability to identify problems and implement solutions
• Demonstrated familiarity with the principles and techniques with electrical and associated trades.
• Working knowledge of the operational characteristics of mechanical equipment and tools
• Demonstrated experience with electrical system components and control systems.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English

• Course work or other trades training
• bility to operate a scissor lift, telehandler manlift, excavator, skid steer, welder and forklift

• Valid Class C drivers license
• Record of safe driving for the last three years
