How You Will Make An Impact:

• Manage the full life cycle of municipal water and wastewater projects, including planning, design, permitting, and construction oversight
• Serve as project manager and/or technical lead, ensuring timely delivery and quality results
• Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and regulatory agencies to advance project goals
• Provide technical design for water/wastewater conveyance systems including mains, lift stations, pump stations, and treatment facilities
• Prepare and review project documentation including calculations, reports, permitting packages, construction drawings, and manuals
• Perform quality assurance and quality control on project deliverables, serving as Engineer of Record
• Guide project teams in the application of AutoCAD and GIS technologies for project efficiency
• Contribute to strategic initiatives such as hydraulic modeling and utility master planning

Are You a Water/Wastewater Project Manager Rock Star?

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in North Carolina (required)
• Proven experience managing municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects
• Strong technical knowledge of water distribution and sewer collection systems, pump and lift stations, and treatment facilities
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and GIS tools in civil/environmental applications
• Excellent communication, coordination, and team leadership skills
• Commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work that serves clients and communities
