Industrial Electrician

Job Title: Industrial Electrician | $28.70-$31/hour | Must be open to all shifts

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician for our facility in Alliance, OH. This position requires expertise in industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting ranging from 12v to 480v and 3-phase systems. Candidates must be willing to work 2nd and 3rd shifts and be available for overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting from 12v to 480v and 3-phase systems.

• Troubleshoot electrical issues in circuits, motors, lighting, control boxes/panels, and machine controls.

• Conduct minor mechanical work on conveyors, gears, and bearings.

• Assist in repairing facility equipment including conveyors, robotic arms, rollers, furnaces, and mobile equipment.

• Participate in special installations and projects.

• Interpret and understand electrical drawings and schematics.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of industrial electrician/maintenance experience.

• Proficient in working with 480v and 3-phase systems.

• Experienced in machine repair and troubleshooting.

• Skilled in circuits, OHMs law, motors, panels, sensors, switches, and photo eyes.

• Ability to read and interpret schematics.

• High School diploma or GED required.

Work Environment

This position is within a union environment, characterized by a heavy industrial and sometimes dirty setting. The area around the furnaces can be hot, while the rest of the plant maintains fair temperatures. The work environment can be loud, especially near tube drop-off areas. Employees are frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, and occasionally to wet or humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and extreme heat. Physical demands include standing, walking, and using hands frequently, as well as occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Shifts include 2nd shift (11PM-7AM with a .28 cent differential) and 3rd shift (3PM-11PM with a .20 cent differential), and employees must be open to working all shifts, with a workweek of 50-60 hours.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $73000.00/yr.
