General Laborer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join a team involved in fabricating sheet metal exterior finishes for commercial buildings. The role involves assisting a skilled craftsman, moving materials to and from job sites, and performing various tasks such as removing protective plastic from metal sheeting and cutting metal components. Applicants should be adept at reading a tape measure and following directions effectively. Responsibilities Assist in fabricating sheet metal exterior finishes for commercial buildings. Move materials to and from job sites. Remove protective plastic from pre-fabricated metal sheeting. Cut metal copings, gutters, downspouts, metal wall panels, and soffits. Essential Skills Experience with fabrication and architectural sheet metal. Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Carpentry skills. Ability to read and use a tape measure.
