SALARY Responsibilities

• Install Fire Alarm systems and components to ensure proper functionality.

• Follow drawings to install systems and associated devices.

• Ensure customers understand how their system works.

• Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers.

• Follow all safety regulations and practices.

• Stay open-minded and eager to learn.

• Adhere to all TEKsystem's client policies, procedures, and core values.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of fire alarm system installation experience.

• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.

• Experience using electronic testing devices.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Fire Life Safety, Low Voltage, or Security.

• Fire Alarm Manufacturer certifications.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Basic understanding of IT functionality.

  Physical Demands

• Use general hand and power tools safely and effectively.

• Operate a cell phone and apps efficiently.

• Lift and carry at least 50 lbs; push/pull over 75 lbs.

• Climb ladders (up to 12 feet) and use man lifts.

• Work in varying weather conditions and noisy environments.

• Frequently sit, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
