Contract-to-Hire | Hampton, New Hampshire | $25 - $30/hr We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Excavator Operator to join our construction team in Hampton, NH. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering long-term potential for individuals who demonstrate reliability, technical proficiency, and a strong work ethic. Position Overview The Excavator Operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to perform excavation tasks including trenching, foundation digging, grading, and site preparation. This role requires close collaboration with site crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with specifications. Key Responsibilities Operate excavators and other heavy equipment to execute excavation and grading tasks. Dig trenches and foundations based on project plans and site conditions. Perform site preparation and earthmoving activities with precision. Work collaboratively with team members to meet project timelines and quality standards. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience operating excavators (experience limited to mini excavators does not qualify). Proficiency in handling various types of heavy equipment including dozers, backhoes, skid steers, front-end loaders, and similar machinery. Solid understanding of construction site operations and earthwork principles. Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and professional conduct. Why Join Us?
