Position: Water Technician
Location: Total Restoration Solutions, Greater Cincinnati, OH-specializing in fire, wind, and water restoration projects across Greater Cincinnati, OH.
Competitive Pay: $25-$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, plus annual bonuses.
Work hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm, with a weekly on-call rotation
Who you are:
- Over 2 years of carpentry experience with a strong track record of completing projects to high standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is highly desired.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance with an emphasis on finished carpentry.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and climbing for extended periods.
- Experience in obtaining permits and interacting with building and mortgage inspectors.
- Excellent verbal communication skills; organized and detail oriented.
- Must have a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
- Willingness to undergo a drug and background check if offered the position.
What you'll do as a Lead Carpenter:
- Assist the production department with completion of projects.
- Order materials and coordinate their delivery or pickup as needed.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee carpentry work on construction sites.
- Ensure projects are finished on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Perform exterior and interior maintenance, repairs, construction, and alteration carpentry work for all assigned projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure smooth project flow and timely completion.
- Maintain and ensure proper use of carpentry tools and equipment.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols on job sites, ensuring all team members follow safety guidelines and regulations.
- Communicate with clients as needed to address concerns, provide updates.
