Norton Correctional Facility is a prison comprised of minimum, low, and medium incarcerated residents. Norton Correctional Facility is split into two different physical locations, Norton, KS housing Central Unit and Stockton, KS housing East Unit. Position Summary & Responsibilities

This position supervises inmates assigned to the laundry operations for Norton Correctional Facility. This position is responsible for ensuring that inmates are instructed in proper procedures and oversees their work.

The laundry supervisor is responsible for daily collection and delivery of all laundry, training inmates in the operation of all machinery following safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring drying time is adequate to provide dry clothes and bags, etc.

Minimum Qualifications: Six months of experience in laundry work involving the operation of commercial scale laundry equipment.

Post-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements: Must have a Valid High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must have a Valid Driver's License. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position. Must take and pass drug screen, background check, and Tuberculosis (TB) test. Must be a current United States Citizen.
