Doors, Frames, & Hardware Foreman - San Diego, CA Job Description We are seeking a skilled Doors, Frames, and Hardware Foreman with extensive experience in the installation, fabrication, and code compliance of door, frame, and hardware systems. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in designing and installing low voltage power-assisted openings. Responsibilities Lead the installation of doors, frames, and hardware systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Fabricate and install doors, frames, and hardware, including mechanical and electrified components. Design and install low voltage power-assisted openings. Lead a team, lay out jobs, and ensure project milestones are met. Interpret hardware schedules and project drawings. Manage materials effectively to ensure project efficiency. Essential Skills Minimum of 6 years of installation experience in doors, frames, and hardware applications. Experience with hollow metal, timely, and knockdown aluminum frames. Expertise in architectural flush, stile & rail type doors. Strong understanding of mechanical hardware. Lead or foreman experience, including crew management and job layout. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with electrified hardware is preferred, training is available. Understanding of BHMA & ANSI finish designations. Knowledge of ADA & fire code compliance. Ability to lift 50 lbs or more. Preferred certifications include OSHA 10 or 30 hour, Fall Protection, CPR, and certifications from major hardware manufacturers or AAADM. Why Work Here?
