Position Description

You will serve as a PAINTER in the FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHEAST MRO PRODUCTION DEPT PROD LINES DIV of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

You will prepare aircraft, engines, ground support equipment, components to finish, using various chemicals, detergents, and solvents in conjunction with high pressure steam and water.

You will perform BY detailed instructions strip operations such as chemical and Plastic Media Blasting, masking, apply chemical conversion to bare substrates and identify various types of corrosion.

You will prepare and apply various paints/proper finishes to process aircraft, aircraft engine structures, components, assembles, and/or sub-assemblies.

You will be familiar with and capable of performing spray paint work involving high finish and close tolerance requirements, using conventional coatings and equipment.
