Construction Estimator (Studio City) compensation: DOE employment type: job title: Construction Estimator Job Title: Construction Estimator Location: Studio City, CA (On-site, Full-Time) Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team and support our growing business in residential architecture, interior design, and construction. This role requires someone who can accurately assess project costs, work closely with vendors and clients, and contribute to the efficient planning and execution of projects from concept to completion. You'll be working directly with the business owner and a small, creative team to prepare and manage estimates, source materials, and support project coordination. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed and accurate construction estimates for residential projects Analyze architectural plans, specifications, and other documentation Source and manage vendor and subcontractor pricing Create budgets and assist in cost control throughout project phases Collaborate with design and construction teams to align estimates with project goals Maintain clear records of costs, changes, and communication with stakeholders Assist with preparing proposals and client presentations Support the business owner in bidding, procurement, and project coordination Desired Skills & Experience 2+ years of experience in construction estimating or related role Strong understanding of residential construction methods and materials Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural plans, and scopes of work Proficiency in estimating software, spreadsheets, and digital tools Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy Strong communication skills and client-facing professionalism Experience working with contractors, vendors, and permitting processes Familiarity with AutoCAD, Design 2020, or construction management platforms (a plus) Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work full-time, in-person in Studio City, CA Strong organizational skills and a proactive, solution-focused attitude Comfortable working in a small team and wearing multiple hats What We Offer A supportive, design-forward work environment Direct involvement in high-end residential projects Opportunity to grow within a small, entrepreneurial company To Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter describing your experience and interest in this role.
