POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Millwright/Electrician will safely and effectively perform general maintenance and repairs for Oregon Door's plant equipment and facilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to:

Work safely and effectively in a team environment.

Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.

Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs or adjustments to improve operation.

Assist with planning repair work using drawings, equipment manuals or field research.

Performs precision repairs on mill equipment.

Performs preventive maintenance inspections and activities (lubrication and preventive maintenance plans) on plant equipment and building systems as required to ensure reliability of the operation.

Cleans and assists with upkeep of the plant facility.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

- A minimum of five years of production experience in a manufacturing environment is required with ten years preferred.

- Door industry manufacturing experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.

- May be required to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. depending on the job.

- Hand dexterity and strength.

- Prolonged sitting and terminal use.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment.

EDUCATION:

Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D
