Crane Operator Pouring

Crane Operator - (Overhead Crane) - Temple, TX - 1st Shift Carpenter Co has an immediate opening for an Overhead Crane Operator at our Temple, Texas plant. This position operates an overhead crane and drives a forklift when required Responsible for the removal of foam buns from the pouring line to the curing area for a specific period of time until the foam is ready to be transported to internal and external customers. Must have constant communication with the Pouring supervisor, Pouring Manager, technical Director and the remaining employees in the pouring department. Works in a chemical curing environment with exposure to chemical fumes and temperature changes. On the job training is available experience is preferred. Skills/ Requirements Must be able to read a tape measure. Basic reading, writing, and math skills are required. Must be able to work flexible hours, overtime, holidays, weekend, and call-in with little notice. Must obtain a Carpenter Company Forklift Certification. Must take and pass a pulmonary test on a daily basis.
