Summary:The Superintendent oversees day-to-day field operations on construction sites. The Superintendent is responsible for coordinating and supervising all onsite construction activities to ensure project success in terms of safety, schedule, quality, and budget. This position plays a key leadership role in managing subcontractors, self-perform crews, and ensuring smooth execution from groundbreaking through project closeout.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Field Leadership & Coordination

+ Oversee and manage all field operations and on-site construction activities.

+ Direct subcontractors, suppliers, and self-perform crews to maintain progress and productivity.

+ Maintain strict adherence to project schedules, ensuring milestone and completion dates are met.

Scheduling & Logistics

+ Develop and manage short-term look-ahead schedules in alignment with the master schedule.

+ Coordinate delivery of materials, equipment, and resources to minimize downtime.

+ Identify potential delays or issues and implement corrective actions in real time.

Safety & Compliance

+ Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.

+ Conduct daily safety briefings, jobsite inspections, and ensure all workers have proper PPE .

+ Document and report incidents, injuries, and near misses in accordance with company protocol.

Quality Assurance

+ Ensure all construction activities adhere to plans, specifications, and quality standards.

+ Conduct ongoing inspections and walkthroughs to identify and correct deficiencies.

+ Coordinate testing, inspections, and third-party quality control as required.
