Were seeking a hands-on engineer to join our Home Energy team in Hattiesburg. This role is highly visible and directly supports production by driving improvements in safety, cost, quality, and delivery. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who thrives on the floor, takes initiative, and supports multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Specific Responsibilities:
Act as a visible floor presence, partnering with operators and supervisors to solve problems and drive results.
Lead engineering projects that drive improvements in safety, cost, quality, and delivery.
Support multiple product or capital initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Apply lean manufacturing tools to improve safety, cost, and quality.
Analyze production data to support decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Purchasing, Operations, and Engineering.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, Applied Science/Applied Technology, or a related technical field.
4+ years' experience in a production manufacturing environment, with functional responsibility in process improvement, industrial engineering, or manufacturing engineering.
Demonstrated application of lean manufacturing tools with measurable results.
Strong Excel skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to work with both production staff and leadership.
High initiative and urgency; problem solver who can adapt to fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
Preferences:
Experience with equipment design, automation, or PLC programming.
AutoCAD Experience

The Salary range for this position is $89,800.00-$114,100.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience, their education, and the work location.About Us
