Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Estimator position include: 3+ years of experience in commercial electrical estimating. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction sequencing, and labor/material cost components. Knowledge of local codes, safety regulations, and permitting processes in California. Proficiency in estimating software (Accubid preferred) and CRM tools like FollowUp or similar. Prepare accurate, competitive bids by analyzing plans, materials, and labor costs. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project managers to ensure scope and budget alignment. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend alternative materials or methods. Salary : $80,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
