Job Timings: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
Position summary:
Responsible for performing preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems, ensuring compliance with EPA regulations and safety standards. Supports energy management initiatives, maintains accurate documentation, and troubleshoots mechanical systems to ensure efficient facility operations
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development, implementation and/or actualization of a preventive maintenance plan.
Responsible for maintaining records of refrigerants consumption according to EPA regulations.
Responsible for keeping up to date MSDS sheets filing.
Responsible for keeping up to date EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) Regulation sheets for refrigerants.
Performs combustion testing in heating systems.
Knowledge of DDC (Digital Direct Control Systems).
Helps monitor Energy Management System (EMS) systems perform routine preventive and emergency maintenance to refrigeration equipment and Heating, Ventilation, and Air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Must have experience in chiller service and repair.
Troubleshoots mechanical systems, controls, and frequency drives.
Reads and interprets blueprints, work drawings, specifications and performs field layouts.
Responsible for a district vehicle, vehicle inventory, HVAC supplies and tools.
Skills:
Knowledge on Energy Management Systems.
Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with district employees.
Education & Certification:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Valid Texas driver's license
Trade school certification related to the field
CFC (Clorofluoroncarbon) Universal License
