Construction Scheduler/Project Engineer Details:
Direct Hire position
$80,000.00 to $104,000.00 /annually
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)
Work will be performed in the office and may require trips to the field. There will be a fair amount of interaction between Project Management personnel and this position. Workdays will vary in length. The work is fast paced and action / result oriented which may be stressful. Travel to job sites and some reimbursable overnight travel may be required.
Assist in formalizing and developing multi-phased, resource loaded schedules in various software programs.
Create, update, and monitor comprehensive project schedules using scheduling software to ensure all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
May assist in implementing Project Management and Document Control processes as it relates to the PM support role defined in the developed processes.
May assist in logging all submittal and shop drawings into an approved program for assigned projects.
May assist in inputting the project meeting minutes into an approved program for assigned projects.
May assist to generate a master vendor listing per assigned project.
May assist to develop and maintain bid vendor listings with breakdown by market segment.
May assist to download, save and print documents and drawings as directed by Project Managers.
May assist to prepare Change Order forms and submit set up sheet to accounting for entry to computer ease
Attend estimate and project meetings as directed by Project Managers.
Provide assistance to the Team.
Construction Scheduler/Project Engineer Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction or related field preferred.
Must have drivers license
Three to Five years of experience with resource loaded scheduling for complex construction projects - Preferred 5-10 years.
Must be able to provide required reports, completely and efficiently.
Must be able to sufficiently communicate, both verbally and in writing, technical and business information.
Personal skills must include creativity, strong communication, interpersonal relationship building, organization, leadership and technical orientation in construction processes, sequencing, math and computers.
Accuracy with all work, including computer input and editing.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities, work independently and deal with stress.
