Job Description
Our Client, a Public Utilities company, is looking for an Electrical Engineer - Mid for their Berwyn, PA/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may vary depending on the specific engineering discipline, but generally include:
Leading and managing engineering projects from conception to completion.
Designing, developing, and testing products, systems, or structures.
Conducting research and analysis to solve complex engineering problems.
Preparing and reviewing engineering documentation, such as drawings, specifications, and reports.
Evaluating and selecting materials and equipment for projects.
Participating in project planning and management activities.
Performing calculations and simulations to support engineering designs.
Collaborating with other engineers, professionals, and stakeholders on project teams.
Ensuring compliance with engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
Mentoring and providing guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in utility distribution systems.
Industry Familiarity: Prior work experience with Client.
Familiarity with client's engineering standards and safety protocols.
Experience with reviewing distribution design drawings
Licensure: EIT certification or PE license.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced Experience: 8+ years in utility engineering, with direct involvement in regional distribution planning.
Project Management: Experience leading engineering projects from concept to construction.
Familiarity with Client's design and construction processes.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
