Job Description
Our Client, an Automotive company, is looking for a Senior. Electrical Engineer, Power Electronics Test & Validation for their Newark, CA location.
Responsibilities:
Strong understanding of power electronics topologies and control.
Review schematic, PCB designs, calculation and simulation of power electronics converters.
Conduct the verification and validation tests for power electronics systems, ensuring compliance with industry and requirements.
Strong hands-on and trouble-shooting skills in testing and verifications of power electronics systems, including the use of lab equipment (battery simulators, power supplies, E-loads, scope, etc.).
Capability to analysis the root-cause of the power electronics system and drive R D activities independently.
Strong technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of power electronics topologies and control.
Minimum 5 years experience with Strong hands-on and trouble-shooting skills in testing and verifications of power electronics systems, including the use of lab equipment (battery simulators, power supplies, E-loads, scope, etc.).
Minimum 5 years experience with Strong technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
M. S degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in power electronics development and testing.
Solid understanding power electronics fundamentals.
Knowledge of automotive requirements.
