Project manager stimator Metal and glass

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the design and installation of architectural glass and metal systems for office facades in buildings in New York City.
The position includes preparing estimates for bid construction opportunities. This begins with reviewing all architectural and construction drawings to create a detailed set of specifications. Once the specifications are established, the Project Manager will create a detailed design of the office facade system and the building that most closely matches the architect's requirements. The Project Manager then submits pricing, which includes all materials, labor, and freight to complete the installation, to the general contractor and architect for review. If there are any questions or concerns about the product, the Project Manager will arrange a presentation for the client to review.
The Project Manager will create shop drawings in AutoCAD, Revit, or Sketchup, computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) software. This drawing must have the exact scale and orientation of the internal offices and building facades.
During material production, the project manager must visit the site periodically to monitor construction progress. They must recheck all measurements to ensure that site conditions have not changed, which could lead to installation failure, and must discuss any issues with the contractor.
Requirements: 2 years of experience working with glass and metal is a plus. You must speak Spanish and English.
