Survey Crew Chief
A well-established engineering and surveying company in the Pittsburgh area is hiring immediately for a Survey Crew Chief with field leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead field crews on boundary, topographic, as-built and ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, construction staking, and flood elevation certificates
- Operate and maintain GPS, total stations, and robotic instruments
- Interpret plans and legal descriptions; ensure accurate data collection and documentation
- Coordinate day-to-day operations with office staff
- Oversee and uphold all safety and equipment standards
- Maintain relationships and communication with clients and contractors
Qualifications
- Field and Leadership experience as a Crew Chief or Party Chief
- Proficient with Trimble, AutoCAD Civil 3D and latest survey tools
- Valid driver’s license
- Dependable, trustworthy and detail-oriented
