Junior Analyst, Model Builder
The target hiring range for this position is $91,517.95-$99,593.06.
Position Summary:
The Junior Analyst, Model Builder will collaborate across functions to assist in the development, maintenance, and optimization of dynamic financial and operational tools that are used to inform decision-making, forecasts, budgeting and planning, operational processes, and key performance indicators. The incumbent may assist in the preparation of forecasted financial reports, conduct special projects, and provide insight and analysis into performance and forecasts to support the achievement of functional and organizational strategies.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with internal functions in the design, build, and implementation of new financial and operational tools, under the guidance of senior analysts.
- Translates existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into multi-dimensional financial and operational models with supervision.
- Assists in reasoning through complex business problems to provide accurate, timely, and actionable financial reporting and key business metrics to operating teams.
- Recommends and implements enhancements to systems and operations used in organizational planning, budgeting, and forecasting under senior guidance.
- Assists in the implementation of other functional projects as they arise.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Information Systems, or an equivalent of relevant and professional work experience is required.
- Demonstrated strength in Excel or Google Sheets with a basic understanding of multi-dimensional models and model architecture, formula efficiency, and pivot tables is required.
- Experience with Anaplan is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience supporting operations in FP&A, accounting, and other business functions is preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL and BI/data visualization is a bonus.
