Project Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to support a well-established general contractor specializing in educational K-12 ground-up projects. The primary focus will be within the market segment of Fairfax County, VA.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the project to maximize profit and exceed client expectations.
• Manage day-to-day project operations, including development of project plans, task definitions, timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder relationship management.
• Oversee risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

• Project management expertise in construction, specifically with base build and ground-up projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk, Construction Cloud, Procore, or Bluebeam software.
• Experience working with a local general contractor.
• Ability to independently manage at least two projects as a Project Manager.
• Base build experience on projects valued between $20-200 million.

• Experience with educational K-12 projects.
• Competence in financial management, including payouts and schedule management.

This role requires approximately 85% presence at project sites, primarily in Fairfax County, VA, and 15% office work in Germantown, MD. The estimated project duration is 24 months, with ongoing opportunities to transition to subsequent VA projects upon completion. The dress code is casual at project sites and business casual in the office.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
