Heavy Equipment Operator

Thiele Kaolin Company, a leading provider of tailored mineral solutions, is recruiting for a Heavy Equipment Operator. This position is located in Deepstep, Georgia.

JOB DESCRIPTION, SKILL REQUIREMENTS, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience and knowledge in operating heavy equipment

Mechanical experience in working on equipment

Ability to work well with others or work alone.

Attentive to safety.

Maintain good safety record.

Willingness to wear proper PPE and follow Safety Rules.

Responsible for operating a bulldozer, farm tractor, and the development of a maintenance program that maximizes efficiency at the least cost while promoting safety.

Grade roads and drill lanes to accommodate core drilling rigs.

Maintain Rights of Way and roads - mowing, side trimming, erosion repairs, and grassing.

Grade and reclaim areas in a mine site setting. Create gentle slopes, terraces, and drainage features that promote successful stabilization.

Operate dozer, tractor, and other heavy equipment. Occasionally, support mine utility crew as laborer.
