Join us as aCivil Highway Engineer within our Transportation group to be partof this success. POSITION The Highway Civil Engineer will beresponsible for the planning and designing of road andtransportation infrastructure, ensuring safety, efficiency, andenvironmental considerations. The primary project focus will be onfederal highways, high-speed, multi-lane systems, and bridges forDOT clients. These responsibilities include: - Work with clients tounderstand their vision and scope of the project. - Analyze surveydata, traffic patterns, and other relevant data to optimize roaddesign and ensure functionality and safety. - Develop detailedplans for new roads, highways, and related infrastructure. -Leverage engineering design software to draft plans, drawings, andmodels. - Involved in the improvement of existing roadinfrastructure, ensuring its continued safety and efficiency. -Ensure that engineering designs comply with relevant DOTregulations and safety standards. - Draft technical writing piecessuch as Requests for Proposals, report writing, projectspecifications, and memorandums. - Provide constructionadministration services during the construction phase of theproject.
