What You'll Do:
Lead and Supervise: Direct a team of fabricators/welders, assign work, set priorities, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Ensure Quality & Compliance: Oversee fabrication work to meet all industry standards, codes, and safety regulations while implementing quality control measures.
Manage Resources: Allocate labor, materials, and equipment efficiently, monitor inventory, and order supplies as needed.
Foster Communication: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and team members to solve challenges and keep projects moving.
Promote Training & Safety: Provide ongoing training in techniques, safety protocols, and equipment use while reinforcing a strong safety culture.
What You Bring:
Proven Experience: Several years of hands-on plumbing and welding experience, including leadership in fabrication or construction settings.
Technical Expertise: Skilled in welding (MIG, TIG, stick), blueprint reading, and fabrication techniques such as cutting, bending, and joining.
Leadership Skills: Strong ability to motivate, mentor, and manage a team with excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
Safety Focus: In-depth knowledge of fabrication safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
Organizational Strength: Effective planning, resource management, and problem-solving skills to handle shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
