Position Overview:
The Construction Superintendent will manage day-to-day on-site operations for building projects, focusing on SAFETY, scheduling, quality, and coordinating subcontractors to ensure completion on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Understand and execute assigned construction tasks within the project scope
Understand and interpret plans and specifications
Successfully execute projects within contracted schedule and budget
Work with project management team monitoring and controlling scope, schedule and budget
Manage field crews and operation and maintenance of equipment
Respond to field and client information requests
Assist in preparation and review for submittals, RFI's and RFC's and make recommendations regarding suitability
Review contractor health and SAFETY plans and regulatory measures on projects
Identify non-conformance issues with construction work and help develop resolution of non-conformance issues
Work Experience:
Required :
- Minimum of 10 years construction superintendent/foreman experience in the oil and gas industry
- Enthusiastic, self-starter with desire to provide excellent service to clients
- Must pass DOT drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy
- Must be available for significant (80% - 90%) travel within the U.S.
Preferred :
- Cathodic Protection industry is a plus.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Physical requirements may require lifting up to 50 pounds
Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, such as trenches, pits, and manholes
Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 50 pounds regularly
Must be able to climb stairs, ramps and ladders regularly
Sitting, standing, walking, or driving for long periods of time (1-3 hours)
Must be able to see, hear, and respond quickly to dangerous situations
Primarily working outdoors, including extreme weather conditions
Working around moving machinery, vehicles, and heavy equipment
Wearing personal protective gear most of the day (safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, hard hat, gloves, safety vest, FRCs)

Bachelors in Construction Management preferred
