About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Communications Consultant reporting to the head of Business Communications for Global Operations. This role serves as an architect of digital workspaces, creating user-friendly, visually compelling SharePoint environments that foster productivity, engagement, and knowledge sharing. This position is for someone who thrives on solving complex business problems with elegant technological solutions and has a proven track record of guiding stakeholders through the design and deployment of modern intranet and collaboration sites.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Website/SharePoint sites, hubs, and subsites tailored to the needs of various departments, ensuring scalability, usability, and compliance with organizational standards.

  • Create visually appealing, intuitive site templates and page layouts using SharePoints design tools, as well as custom CSS and JavaScript enhancements where appropriate.

  • Collaborate closely with business units and leadership to analyze requirements, present prototypes, and iteratively refine solutions based on stakeholder input.

  • Champion user-centric design principles, conducting usability analysis and incorporating feedback to optimize navigation, accessibility, and overall site experience.

  • Monitor site performance, usage, and user feedback; implement improvements to ensure reliability, speed, and accessibility.

  • Establish best practices for content organization, metadata, retention policies, and search optimization, empowering teams to find and share information effectively.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 7+ years of Management Consulting, Strategic Consulting and Communications

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification in SharePoint (Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Associate or Expert) and/or Power Platform.

  • Experience implementing enterprise-level intranets, extranets, or digital workplaces.

  • Background in change management and user adoption strategies.

  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508) and inclusive design practices.

  • Experience developing custom web parts, SPFx solutions, and integrating third-party apps.

  • Knowledge of Power BI and data visualization within SharePoint environments.

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work on site in a hybrid role.
