Job Title: Civil Project Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking multiple Civil Engineers, Designers, and Project Managers to join our team. Successful candidates will work closely with the Land Development VP or Detroit Market Lead, depending on their experience and location. The positions are available at our metro Detroit offices, or alternatively in Lansing or Grand Rapids, with a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days remote.
Responsibilities
- Perform design, engineering calculations, and prepare reports.
- Conduct site visits and support permit applications.
- Provide construction assistance and evaluate land use and zoning requirements.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D daily for design tasks.
- Support private sector projects, K-12 projects, municipal, or urban planning projects.
- Focus on grading, drainage, sanitary/sewer, and utilities work for site/land development.
- Engage in mixed-use urban infill, sustainable design, and stormwater management practices.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- EIT or PE certification, or ability to obtain within six months.
- At least 4 years of experience in Civil Site Development design.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D design.
- Experience in designing grading, drainage, utilities, sanitary/sewer.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- EIT or PE certification.
- Urban planning/design experience.
- K-12 Site Design experience.
- Project Management experience.
Work Environment
You have the option to work from Rochester Hills, Detroit, or Novi office. The work schedule is hybrid, with three days in the office and two days remote. The environment is collaborative and team-focused, with a fun atmosphere. The expected work hours are Monday through Friday, 40-50 hours per week. Compensation is provided for any additional hours worked.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $48.00/hr.
