We are scrap metal and fiber processors located in the heart of Lansing's Old Town for over 135 years. We are a union shop, offering full benefits and 401k contribution.
The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, a safety-first mindset, and willingness to work and learn. With the nature of our business, material flow changes happen rapidly, and so does the work involved.
This position will be responsible for a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
Sorting materials
Sorting and dumping paper to feed shredders
Assisting in operating industrial paper shredders
Helping the baler & and shredding crewsAssiting the baler crew
Cleaning
Assisting in the metals yard
Pay starts at $16.50 per hour, with $1.00/HR raise after 60 working days.
We are located at 405 E. Maple St. in Lansing. Stop into our office and fill out an app! A valid driver's licence is required.
