Note: The hourly rate for this position is $24 - $32 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints to understand the layout of HVAC systems
• Installing HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and ventilation ducts Inspecting and maintaining HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning properly
• Measuring and marking sheet metal to prepare for installation
• Cutting, bending, and fabricating sheet metal ducts
• Using power and hand tools to secure ductwork in place
• Ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety regulations
• Testing HVAC systems and ductwork to detect any leaks or malfunctions
• Repairing or replacing worn or defective parts
• Communicating with clients to understand their HVAC needs and provide appropriate solutions

Qualifications:

• Comfortable working all phases of residential & commercial construction to include underground, rough, and trim
• Own all hand and power tools of the trade and have the ability to bring them to work every day
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
